Peptide Reconstitution Calculator.
Pick your vial, the bacteriostatic water you add, and the amount per draw. The concentration and the exact units to draw on a U-100 syringe update live, with a syringe drawn to the mark.
Your vial
Peptide and the amount of lyophilized powder printed on the vial.
Bacteriostatic water
How much BAC water you add to the vial. More water means a larger, easier-to-measure draw.
Bacteriostatic water is the standard diluent for lyophilized peptides in the lab. More water gives a larger, easier-to-measure draw; less water gives a more concentrated solution.
Amount per draw
How much peptide you want in each draw from the vial.

The math, with your numbers in it
Concentration
10 mg ÷ 2 mL
= 5 mg/mL
Peptide in the vial divided by the water you add.
Volume to draw
2.5 mg ÷ 5 mg/mL
= 0.5 mL
Amount per draw divided by the concentration.
Syringe units
0.5 mL × 100
= 50 units
A U-100 syringe has 100 units per mL, so 1 unit = 0.01 mL.
Four quick steps
How to use the calculator
Pick your vial
Choose the peptide and the vial strength in mg. Common sizes are listed; type a custom value for anything else.
Add the water
Choose how much bacteriostatic water you add. The vial on the right fills as you change it.
Set the amount per draw
In mcg or mg. The syringe moves to the exact unit mark, and the stats update as you type.
Read the syringe
Draw to the red mark on a U-100 syringe. Switch between 0.3, 0.5 and 1 mL barrels to match what you have.
Reconstitute gently
Run the water slowly down the inside wall of the vial and swirl until clear. Never shake a peptide solution.
Keep it cold
Sealed lyophilized vials store cool, dry and dark. Reconstituted solution is kept refrigerated in a laboratory setting.
